  2. Hi, I have a Megane III 5-door version 1.6L, as much as I noticed I have DRL in the main head light but they are not working - I guess that option was removed in my country "egypt" - so I was looking if there anyway to install that option ?

    1. the DRL may just be disabled from the setup menu. did you try and enter the system setup menu and see if daytime lights are enabled or disabled?

    2. If you have the vehicle handbook, look in the Vehicle Settings Customisation Menu section which describes how to enable/disable.

  3. Hi there. I am very impressed you were able to make the DRL works that way. I am still thinking to bring DRL to my car like the ones on the RS250. But I would like them to function in another way. Since our meganes here are with the DRL disabled. I would like to make the DRL work like this way for better vision and the look of course:

In all cases the DRL won't work with the Ignition On: (it works only with the headlights stalk)

    Pos 0: All OFF
Pos 1: Sidlights ON, DRL at full intensity
Pos 2: (Sidelights always still On by normal), Dimmed Beam ON, DRL at half Intensity

Pos 3: (Sidelights always still On by normal), Dimmed Beam ON (normal), High Beam ON, DRL at half Intensity

So as you see all the arrangement is in Pos 1 and 2.. So do you have any idea if it is possible to accomplish it ?

    1. I would have to give this some thought. If activating the DRL circuit via the sidelights, you would also have to create a PWM circuit. Because the DRL is PWM.

  4. Hi Ahmed..

I just have a little question regarding this.... How the switching between the OEM DRL Driver (Full Intensity) and your custom made (50% Intensity) works ? Do you use a relay ? How does the system knows that the Sidelights are on so it switches to the Custom made DRL Driver ? I am trying to accomplish something similar to that..
    Thanks a lot :)

    1. Hi Mohammed, nope I am not using a relay for this because the drivers require very low amount of current, it is automatically powered as soon as the sidelights turn on. Sidelights and DRL's do not operate together so as soon as sidelights turn on, the power from it powers the drivers
